Release Notes (ver. 4.2.0.3)– 8/12/2026: Extends Warp Speed to Modal Analysis, introduces Inspection Mode, multi-band time domain filtering, Viewer Mode, and many other improvements that expand users' toolkits and improves the user experience.
NEW:
- Warp Speed extended to Modal Analysis.
- Inspection Mode — syncs camera frame rate to rotational speed so shafts and blades appear frozen while the machine runs. Adjustable rotation angle for 360 degree viewing, snapshot capture at any angle, and Auto-sync to find running speed when it isn't known. Note: this does not use Warp Speed.
- Multi-band time-domain filtering — isolates multiple frequency bands in a single pass instead of one at a time.
- Viewer Mode — allows users to open and view shared VibVue® project data without consuming a license.
- Custom range selection for charts (bound settings). Right click chart to enter max and min values for x and y axes.
- Sorting options for filtered frequencies.
- Upload button in the Tools menu, linking to the VibVue Insights page.
- Website link in the Tools menu, linking to the VibVue® product page.
CHANGES:
- All compatible file types now selectable in video file import options.
- Linear scale is now the default chart display. Log scale can be set as default in Settings.
FIXED:
- Measurement tables now export correctly to reports.
- USB trigger threshold no longer defaults too low.
- Camera settings UI issues.
- Various other UI issues and bugs.
