A 2300 GPM centrifugal pump was to be re-designed for an increased head of 530 ft. The new impeller design had to fit into the existing casing. 

An automated parametric CFD study using CFturbo and STAR-CCM+ was deployed to find the ideal wrap angle to match the performance target.
