Michael C. Marscher

Mr. Marscher attended Alfred University and NJIT, where he studied a combination of materials and computer science. In the experimental area, Mike combines hands-on mechanical
skills, acquired through years of designing and constructing custom off-road vehicles, with a complete knowledge of the latest computer hardware and software in order to keep
MSI's analysis, lab, and field testing capabilities at the advanced state-of-the-art.
Mike takes a leading role in all MSI rig design projects, and participates in many of MSI's field
troubleshooting projects in refineries and utilities around the world. Mike has designed and supervised the construction of many of MSI's fast track projects, including a
cryogenic test rig for aircraft hydraulic pumps and a custom built, internet accessible, 48 channel remote data acquisition and analysis system. On the analytical side, he is
an experienced user of various finite element and rotordynamic programs, including ANSYS, NEiNastran, and the ROMAC codes. In addition to his technical duties, Mike is
the administrator of MSI's network and servers.
