Dan Owens has an excellent background in off-road vehicle construction, operation, and design improvements. Dan has played an important role in hardware construction for MSI’s successful RPG (Rocket-Propelled Grenade) Defeat project for the U.S. Marine Corps. funded through the Office of Naval Research.
Dan’s hands-on work includes rig and prototype construction, and on-site testing. He is an excellent machinist, fabricating aluminum and steel components in MSI’s Prototype Machine Shop. Dan also uses MSI’s 35-channel PULSE FFT analysis hardware and software to determine vibration levels and frequency spectra for pumps, turbines, compressors, and all types of turbomachinery operating in the field.
Dan has an Associates Degree in Science.
