Spark and Diesel Engine Analysis

Mechanical Solutions, Inc. has experience analyzing stress, thermal, and lubrication issues often found in internal combustion engines. MSI has also been developing a new style of constant displacement turbine engine with the size and weight advantages of a gas turbine and the specific fuel consumption of a diesel. The pistons follow a circular path and share a common torus as their cylinder.

The KULL engine greatly improves the volumetric efficiency and significantly increases the power to weight ratio compared to conventional reciprocating diesel engines. MSI has completed the design of the initial prototype and components are being manufactured.   Engine applications include ground and vehicle power generation, UAVs, and any application requiring a small and light foot print and good fuel efficiency
