High Speed Video Capture & Analysis
MSI offers advanced high speed video analysis capabilities:
Post processing of the images is done using ProAnalyst software. ProAnalyst offers calibrated frame by frame analysis, which allows the calculation of speeds, angles, vector displacement, microsecond timing, dynamic measurements and more.
MSI has used its high speed video capabilities to study:
- Projectile speeds, flight path and impacts on both lethal and non-lethal munitions
- Blade vibration and natural frequencies
- Material deformation
- Fluid flow paths and particle dispersion

Future studies will include:
- Cavitation in pumps and piping
- I.C. engine combustion optimization
- Sports equipment testing and enhancement
- Drop testing of consumer/prototype products
